This Yarra Valley based land surveying practice has continued to grow since its inception, and the establishment of Thomas & George Pty Ltd in 2008 established the land surveying business as a company in its own right. Our surveying practice predominantly offers land surveyor services to the Yarra Valley, Lilydale & Outer Eastern metropolitan Councils of Melbourne (Maroondah, Cardinia, Knox), together with our nearby northern neighbouring communities of Kinglake, Marysville & Murrindindi. However, projects can be considered for all areas of Victoria.
We proudly support the Surveying Taskforce in its promotion of the Surveying Industry, having in recent years employed RMIT Surveying Tafe Students on a casual basis whilst they also undertook their surveying studies. We have recently welcomed Ben Lia (completed 2nd year RMIT Tafe student), Ross Jackal (RMIT Graduate Surveyor) & Jodie Barnett to our specialist team.
Thomas & George Pty Ltd are dedicated to the provision of a safe working environment & have developed a comprehensive OHS Safety Manual & Policies, to assist our staff in achieving this requirement. Our staff are trained in First Aid as appropriate. We continue to undertake regular OHS training as required.
Our practice, being located on the Green Wedge fringe area of Melbourne at Lilydale, has resulted in a good understanding of the specific issues that affect development of both Urban Residential and Green Wedge/Rural properties, and the particular land surveying requirements associated with such development. We have gained an extensive knowledge of projects ranging from:
- Title Re-establishment
- Boundary Realignment / Re-Subdivisions,
